Web App Development
Developing a web app is usually cheaper than developing a native app for a single operating system.
Web apps are excellent as an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for a startup but also for a normal company that likes to try something out. Web apps can be found via Google and others and used directly without installation. They can be published and updated in seconds and do not have to go through an approval process.
Web Apps made by zuri.net
zuri.net is an independent local directory that I have been operating since 2004, currently in its 4th version. Data is obtained from all possible sources via APIs. Events, weather, movie schedules, swimming pool temperatures, lunch menus, headlines, Google Places, Foursquare Ratings, etc. The website runs on a standard LAMP stack. The app can be used bilingually and has a sister site in Bangkok called gurulist.net. It is programmed to be usable in any city.
At SOORT.eco, you will find hundreds of shops that meet various criteria for sustainability and social responsibility, and the best part: trees are planted with each click on the shops. The team manages shops and news in the backend. The web app is an MVP aimed at attracting investors.
Upon request, I also develop interfaces that display data from existing sources on your website. For example, current weather conditions (zuri.net), stock prices, newspaper headlines, swimming pool temperatures, etc. The requirement for this is an accessible API and a CMS like Kirby that allows easy integrations.
